New cushion cover for spring redecorating I hear you say? I’ve got you covered! In February I was gifted some beautiful yarn from Knitshop.co.uk and the Bobbles Of Fun Cushion Cover was born, with it’s bobble texture and big wooden buttons, what’s not to love. The best part is I’m sharing this pattern with you all for FREE and not only that but you can also get your hands on a huge 15% discount code for Knitshop.co.uk. We are literally serving this project to you, so who’s ready to have bobbles of fun!?
Before we get to the pattern and that all important discount code, let me share with you a bit about Knitshop.co.uk and the gorgeous yarn I used on this project.
“knitshop.co.uk and knitshop yarns was founded in 2004 by Julieta Brandao. Offering a wide range of natural, quality designer yarns for hand knitting and crochet. Natural wool fleece and tops for felting and spinning as well as accessories and patterns. Based in London, knitshop.co.uk is a friendly, small family run business for good quality yarns.“
THE YARN: The gorgeous yarn I was gifted is 100% wool and I can honestly say it was the least itchiest wool I’ve ever used. I tend to avoid wool for this reason, I don’t have the patience to keep washing and wearing until it gets soft, yes I’m that person! This yarn was a dream to work with and something I would be willing to spend my own dollar on, that’s saying something! It ran smoothly through my fingers while crocheting and my finished cushion cover is so soft and snuggly, I cannot wait for my next Thick and Easy project.

Fast off and sew in your ends.
Cut 4 lengths of yarn. Insert some stitch markers in the third row of Hdc under the single bobble row. Fold at the end over your cushion cover at these markers and sew along the edges ( you should be sewing the white area up to the middle of the three row bobble section) Continue this on the other side then move onto the other end of the cushion. Once all 4 sides are sewn.
Add your buttons to the side without button holes. Add your buttons directly where the button holes fall to make sure you line up your work.
Sew in your ends and enjoy your cushion.
